My husband, John, wanted to try out the toaster on Friday morning to see how well the Kitty design appears on the toast during the process.\u00c2\u00a0 We were both running late, so I wrapped the toast in a small pocket of tin foil, and put it in my lunch bag, not quite sure what I was going to do with it. The sandwich bread is very stale, having spent several weeks in the fridge.\u00c2\u00a0 While it smells great, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not quite sure it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s safe to eat.\u00c2\u00a0 We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll call it questionable bread.\u00c2\u00a0 We planned to use it to feed the birds out back.\u00c2\u00a0 Making Kitty toast has been an additional use.<\/p>\n

Once at work, and getting my laptop going, pulling out my soda and water for my desk, I remembered the toast.\u00c2\u00a0 Being Friday, it was a bit quiet, so I was able to get away with snapping some quick shots while sitting in my cube.\u00c2\u00a0 Again, cell phone camera is not perfect.\u00c2\u00a0 Trying to hold toast in one hand and strike a creative pose, while awkwardly holding my phone and depressing a not-so-convenient photo button all while making sure my co-workers weren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t watching or walking by was a bit much.\u00c2\u00a0 Therefore, these not perfect and somewhat lousy shots of my toast will have to suffice.<\/p>\n

But at least the first official Kitty Toast Post* is up! : )<\/p>\n

Extras no one asked for:\u00c2\u00a0 That is Hawaii on my laptop screen \u00e2\u20ac\u201c an image of the beach in downtown Waikiki from a visit a few years ago.\u00c2\u00a0 The red card tacked up on the cube wall has words of encouragement for writers, because I try to remind myself all day at work that I need to write so I can do that for a living instead.\u00c2\u00a0 One of those snapshots is my desk, file cabinet, and the corner of my white board, which I draw on, which it not its intended use.\u00c2\u00a0 And there is an adding machine from the 1980\u00e2\u20ac\u00b2s, which I love to use but don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have much use for, so I put a frog sticker on top of it.\u00c2\u00a0 Because frogs are also cool.\u00c2\u00a0 Like Kitty toast.<\/p>\n
