Saturday* I met up with an old friend for lunch at Panera in Fairfax, VA. Naturally, because it was Saturday, I brought my toast along. I’m not really sure why I was bothered so much by this, but folks walking by my car in the parking garage were giving me some strange looks as I held up a piece of toast in my car and took a picture of it. Yes, I know – Why should I care? All the same, I felt foolish, so I didn’t take any further pictures as I had originally planned. Here, a fresh piece of Saturday toast is pictured with my dashboard and the passenger door in a parking garage in Fairfax, VA. Yep, that’s it.
By the way, the Sonoma Chicken Stew at Panera is hands-down my favorite soup. It’s flavorful and full of veggies and chicken and the yummy biscuit right down to the last drops. I am always sad when it’s gone. Saturday’s stew was no exception. Can’t wait to have some more.
