Happy New Year!

You may have stumbled across this blog because you know me, or maybe you follow me on Instagram, or have visited my Etsy shop, or seen me live on Twitch. Maybe all, some, or none of those things. Regardless of how you arrived here: Welcome!

My plan for 2023 is somewhat simple: Make and do things that bring me happiness and fulfillment.

Borrowing a resolution from Andrea Schulman, “This year I am going to stay in the flow and do what I want to do no matter what.”.

And that “stay in the flow” approach also applies to this blog. I want to be relatively consistent, posting texty posts once or twice a week, and uploading project and life images a little more frequently, both here and on Instagram. Where things go from there will be determined by the flow.

However, I have made one commitment for 2023: I’m taking a page of Kim Werker’s book (literally) and participating in the Year of Making 2023. It’s a pledge to make something every day during 2023, even if you’re only “making” for a few minutes per day.
